This policy explains how Quality Tap Care collects and uses personal information when you use our website, register your interest, make a booking or contact us.

Quality Tap Care is operated by Innovation Creation Ltd, company number 08891899, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is G02 Terriers House, Amersham Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP13 5AJ.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, service address, postcode, What3Words location, appointment preferences, details about your boiling-water tap system, fault information, customer notes, payment and booking status, referral information, service photographs and correspondence.

If you select the optional filming offer, we also record your interest in allowing the work to be filmed. We confirm permission again before filming begins.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to check service coverage, arrange and provide appointments, take booking payments, communicate about your booking, maintain service records, provide reminders, administer referrals, respond to enquiries, improve our services and meet legal, accounting and safety obligations.

4. Filming and photographs

Filming is optional and is not required to receive our services. Where agreed, we aim to record only the tap system and the work being carried out, without people, personal information or identifiable areas of the home. We may use approved footage for educational and promotional content, including our website and social-media channels.

You may change your mind before filming starts. If footage contains personal information and consent is the basis on which we use it, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

5. Payments and service providers

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store complete payment-card details. We use service providers to operate the website, manage bookings and records, send communications and securely store relevant files. These may include Netlify, Notion, Google and email-service providers. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

6. Lawful bases

We process information where it is necessary to provide or prepare the service you requested, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests such as managing service records and improving operations, or where you have given consent for a specific optional use.

7. Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service history, legal, tax, warranty and dispute requirements. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect it.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Contact us using the email address above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

9. Other websites

Our website may link to social-media, review, payment or other external services. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
